King’s Gold
Someone stole the king’s golden goblet. He asks his advisor, Wynnie, to help him find it. As soon as she sees a picture of the missing goblet, Wynnie knows her pet dragon stole it. She saw her dragon drinking from it earlier today. But, she doesn’t want to tell the King. He’s angry. And he wants to punish the thief. Wynnie needs to figure out how to help the king without upsetting her dragon.

Hi are any of these books acceptable for third and fourth grade?

The books are g-rated. Many 4th graders read middle grade books. Children of the Wandering House is a high middle grade novel. The vocabulary is more 6th grade than 4th. The King’s Gold is a topic that would interest many 3rd graders, if they don’t feel they have outgrown picture books. Thank you for asking
